Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship Breakfast
Held annually on the national observance of Dr. King’s birthday, the event convenes community, education, and civic leaders to honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy while raising scholarship support for Rhode Island students pursuing higher education.
This scholarship breakfast has reflected our collective commitment to education, leadership, and service, On MLK Day, we recognize students whose aspirations reflect the values Dr. King championed.
The program will include scholarship presentations and reflections on Dr. King’s impact on civic life and social progress. Proceeds benefit the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund, supporting students across the state.
The breakfast will take place at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, located at 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston, the keynote speaker is Nirva LaFortune, Executive Director of City Year Providence. Tickets are $75 and available online
