SPCA of Northern Nevada is excited to introduce Kitten Kindergarten, a six-week foundational course designed to help kitten parents better understand feline behavior and strengthen the bond they share with their kittens.
Led by SPCA-NNโs own Alyssa Bennion, this course focuses on understanding behavior through communication rather than correction. Participants will learn how kittens communicate through body language, play, environment, and routine โ while gaining practical tools to support healthy emotional and behavioral development during one of the most important stages of a catโs life.
Whether youโre raising your first kitten or simply want to build a stronger relationship with the one you have, this class is designed to help both kittens and their people feel more confident together.

Kitten Kindergarten was created to help build strong foundations through patience, observation, and trust-based interaction โ giving kittens the tools they need to thrive while helping pet guardians feel more connected and confident along the way.

Each week builds upon the last, helping kittens develop confidence while teaching pet guardians how to better understand and respond to their needs.
