2nd Best Fest: "Just Fine" Dining & More!
The Coalition Theater proudly presents the 8th Annual 2ND BEST FEST—a three-day comedy extravaganza showcasing the best in improv, sketch, and stand-up. Running June 5–7, this year’s festival brings high-caliber acts from LA, Chicago, NYC, Baltimore, Raleigh, DC, and RVA to four incredible venues in Richmond’s Downtown Arts District.
The late-night Thursday showcase brings together an eclectic mix of comedic flavors. The Complaint Department tackles your worst corporate nightmares through sketch, while Richmond’s own Jordan Boyd delivers stand-up. Super Mega iCon Group takes the stage for a genre-hopping improv set, and “Just Fine” Dining closes the evening with a delightfully improvised three-course comedy meal.

Jordan Boyd is a Richmond-based comedian and show producer who has performed for Don't Tell Comedy, The Last Word Comedy Festival, and many more. She co-produces the Coalition Theater's Open Mic, Champions, known for its exclusively curated lineup of comedians from across the state, and runs shows across Richmond with the goal of promoting diversity within stand up.
