Central VA Masterworks Chorale presents "Celebrating American Composers" At Duncan Memorial Church


The Central Virginia Masterworks Chorale will be performing its spring concert on Friday, May 15th at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 4200 Dover Road in Richmond and on Sunday, May 17th at 3 p.m. at Duncan Memorial UMC, 201 Henry Street in Ashland. In honor of our nation’s 250th day of independence, the chorale program will feature works from American composers including Leonard Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms” and Mack Willberg’s “Tres Cantus Laudendi,” among others. The choir will be supported by accomplished instrumentalists and soloists. Tickets are now on sale. Adult tickets are $20 and student tickets are $10. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cvamc.org by selecting Performances and then Tickets from the main menu or directly from a Chorale member at a discount. Tickets are also available at The Caboose Market in Ashland. Purchased tickets are valid for either performance. CVMC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) group of volunteer singers united by a love of music and a desire to perform some of the best of choral literature.
