Beer Festival: Brews, Boos and BBQ’ returns to Ashland


The Hanover Arts and Activities Center, Ashland’s home for creativity, learning and celebration, welcomes the community to join them again this year for the “Off the Rails Craft Beer Festival: Brews, Boos and BBQ.” On Saturday, October 26, 2024, come to the center of the universe for a day of fun, flavor and festivities. This family-friendly event will take place on the beautiful lawn along Ashland’s historic railroad tracks, showcasing local craft beers, delicious BBQ and a vibrant community atmosphere. BBQ from the Ashland Rotary club and beer and wine from local breweries and James River Cellars are available for purchase. In the spirit of Halloween, the horror costume contest will have winners for scariest costume and best film-inspired costume with prizes from Red Vein Escape and Ashland Theatre. Test your luck with the “Human Slot Machine” and enjoy live music from Buckville Hootenanny. This festival is a perfect way to celebrate the fall season while supporting local businesses and community organizations. Advance tickets are $15 and are available at hanoverarts.net. Walk-ups are also welcome.
