Sunrise Science: Science of Opportunity on the International Space Station
A veteran of four spaceflights, Pettit has spent 590 days in space over three decades. Most recently, during a seven-month mission aboard the International Space Station, he conducted research on topics including in-orbit metal 3D printing, water sanitization, plant growth and fire behavior. Few people have witnessed the process of scientific discovery from such a unique vantage point, and Pettit will share those insights with our guests.
Sunrise Science events are free. Tickets are capped due to fixed seating in The Dome. Guests will be asked to fill all available seats.
