SSO Opera! Mozart’s The Magic Flute

Ontario, California — The Southland Symphony Orchestra and Chorus proudly invites the community to experience the wonder, beauty, and enchantment of opera with a special fully staged production of Mozart’s beloved masterpiece, The Magic Flute. This extraordinary SSO Opera event takes place on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Bethel Congregational Church UCC, located at 536 N. Euclid Avenue, on the southeast corner of Euclid Avenue and F Street.
Under the baton of Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann, founder and music director of the Southland Symphony Orchestra, this magical afternoon brings together dazzling vocal soloists, the Southland Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and a timeless story filled with humor, adventure, and hope. Michal Dawson Connor serves as Artistic Director for the production.
Audiences of all ages will delight in Mozart’s unforgettable music and fairy-tale storytelling, featuring heroic trials, lyrical love, and the iconic Queen of the Night arias—all performed by an outstanding cast of principal singers:
