Join us on Saturday, April 18th from 9:00AM-11:30AM for an Earth Day Creek Clean-up in Winters! This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council, City of Winters, and Solano County Water Agency. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. Children under the age of 13 are required to have an adult accompany them. Please come prepared with sturdy, close-toed shoes and a reusable water bottle.
PCC will be leading clean-up trails through south side of the park next to the creek, and along the stretch of Putah Creek Road that passes above the park. Trails in the park are family-friendly, while the road crew is open to adults only.
This event is being dedicated to the late Don Sanders, who was a committed creek clean-up volunteer for about 15 years. We are hoping for a big turnout to honor Don!
Registration is highly recommended, but not required. Those who sign-up will receive detailed directions and any updates to the event.
All attendees must sign a waiver before participating in this event. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
