Winters Memorial Day Service
Join the community for a Memorial Day ceremony at Winters Cemetery honoring veterans laid to rest there. The program will include the Pledge of Allegiance led by Winters Girl Scouts, patriotic songs, featured remarks from Col. Nelson Prouty of Travis Air Force Base, a 21-gun salute by the Service Veterans of Northern California Volunteer Honor Guard and TAPS performed by a Winters High School band member. Flags will fly at half-staff, and veterans’ graves will be marked with flags.
