Conversation 360: Voting and Disability

Civic engagement is the act of improving the quality of life in a community through political and non-political actions, such as voting in elections, writing representatives, participating in rallies, volunteering on committees, and so much more. Your voice has the power to change your community, but barriers to meaningful civic engagement create social, health, and economic disparities for people with disabilities. Conversation 360° creates a space to discuss these barriers, share experiences, identify solutions, learn from each other, and explore the many ways that getting involved in civic action gives you the power to shape your community! Enjoy group discussions, opportunities to share your experiences, learning from your community, guest speakers, resource booths, accessible voting equipment demonstrations, voter registration, and more. Come celebrate Disability Voting Rights Week with us! Learn more about event features, guest speakers, and resources at www.disabilitysa.org/conversation-360. Free to attend, RSVP to let us know you’re coming!
