The fall festival will take place on Saturday, October 26 and will include the following schedule of activities:
• 9 a.m.: Spooky stories by the campfire with Ranger Sean
• 10 a.m.: Noodle Hockey at the Water Tower Lawn
• 12 p.m.: Family treasure hunt at the activity pool
• 12 p.m.-8 p.m.: On-site pumpkin patch (additional fee)
The resort will feature a pumpkin patch where guests can pick their favorite pumpkin that they can take home or decorate.
• 1 p.m.: Tie dye shirt making (additional fee)
• 2 p.m.-8 p.m.: Local vendor market
Guests can shop unique goods, arts, and products from local businesses. The market will feature everything from permanent jewelry to rock, hand-knitted beanies and more. If you would like to purchase a table to display and sell your goods or services, sign up here.
• 2 p.m.-8 p.m.: Tailgate games and beverage tastings for adult guests
• 2 p.m.-8 p.m.: Arts and crafts (additional fee)
Families can visit activity stations including a glitter tattoo and henna station, a “Paint a Pumpkin” and yarn ghost making station, and more.
• 3 p.m.: Family flag football game
• 4 p.m.: Halloween costume contest
The costume contest will feature prizes in multiple categories including best kids costume, best adult costume, and best themed family costume.
• 5 p.m.-7 p.m.: Zoomagination
Attendees can join professional wildlife handlers from Zoomagination, a local nonprofit organization that provides rehabilitation and homes to abandoned exotic animals in Texas. Guests can see and learn more about some of the organization’s residents including a two-toed sloth, parrots, a bearded dragon, and more.
• 5 p.m.-8p.m.: Live music on the lawn
• 6 p.m.: Corn hole tournament
• 7 p.m.-9 p.m.: Fireside s’mores at Henry’s Hollow
• 8 p.m.: Movie Under the Stars
The fall festival will conclude with a screening of “Paranorman” on the resort’s oversized outdoor movie screen. Throughout the afternoon, the resort will also provide several food stations with items for purchase, featuring foot-long corn dogs, turkey legs, giant Bavarian pretzels, cotton candy, funnel cake, candy apples, sausage on a stick, hot chocolate, apple cider, snow cones, and more.

After a day of enjoying the fall festivities, guests can relax in their newly-renovated guestroom which showcases a modern and upscale ranch aesthetic. The rooms feature new hard wood floor, spaces sleeping arrangements for families, updated technology including 65-inch ultra-high-definition televisions, new walk-in showers with intricate tilework, and new artwork that reflects the resort’s history as the location of the Rogers Wiseman Ranch.

In addition to the event, guests and day pass holders can also enjoy the resort’s five-acre water park throughout the day. The water park features multiple heated pools and whirlpools, a lazy river, two-story waterslide, a FlowRider wave simulation machine, sandy volleyball court, and several outdoor picnic tables and outdoor fire pits.
