Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival
Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival returns on the sand at Portwood Pier Plaza this year featuring a gigantic monument castle, a street fair, live entertainment, and the Kids-n-Kastles competition for ages 12 and under will compete, sponsored by the Imperial Beach/South Bay Kiwanis. There will not be the traditional master's sandcastle competition but with the perfect location and ideal weather, it's a great day trip. The Sandcastle Ball will take place on Friday evening, August 16 at 6 pm to midnight at Mike Hess Brewing Company on Seacoast Drive, Imperial Beach. The event is free and open to the public, donations are requested for Rad Swag Bags, supplies are limited.
