McAlister Institute Annual 5K Walk for Sobriety
Taking place at the Naval Training Center Park at Liberty Station, the proceeds from Walk for Sobriety will go directly to those in recovery at the McAlister Institute, a nonprofit providing care for prevention and addiction treatment.
This purposeful event was made to unite survivors of addiction and community members to bring awareness to a battle that was never meant to be fought alone. The morning will include several events for participants of all ages to enjoy from a kids’ zone with arts and crafts, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and games.
