Culinary Clash – Dinner #2: Logan McGovern vs. Sonal Ruparel
The competition continues on Sunday, March 8, as two new student chefs step into the spotlight for the second night of Culinary Clash’s 15th anniversary series at Bistro 888.
Logan McGovern, raised in Half Moon Bay, discovered his passion in CCSF’s culinary labs and brings precision and focus honed for high-pressure kitchens. Competing alongside him is Sonal Ruparel, originally from Mumbai, a certified nutritionist and former fitness instructor who blends health-forward philosophy with refined culinary technique.
Each chef team will present an original multi-course dinner menu, served to guests and judged by a panel of culinary professionals. Optional Kivelstadt Cellars wine pairings have been personally selected to enhance the evening’s flavors.
Culinary Clash is both a live competition and a meaningful fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting City College of San Francisco’s Culinary Arts & Hospitality Studies Department.
