Oak and Ocean: A Jefferson's Bourbon Dinner at The Beach Chalet

Jefferson’s Bourbon was founded in 1997 by a famed bourbon historian and his son who were continuing a family whiskey tradition dating back eight generations to a grandmother arrested in 1799 for the “production and sales of spirituous liquors.” From bourbon aged at sea to unique experiments with wood, Jefferson’s pushes boundaries by experimenting with cutting-edge aging techniques while still upholding tradition.
For decades known for its contemporary and classic seafood-centric American fare, Beach Chalet is housed in a historic building that now serves as the Golden Gate Park Visitors’ Center at the park's western edge, fronting the ocean.
