Redwood City – MOVIES ON THE SQUARE 2026 featuring Wicked for Good
20 years strong, Movies on the Square lights up Redwood City again in 2026! Beginning June 4, Courthouse Square becomes a vibrant open-air cinema every Thursday for fourteen big weeks, featuring free double features for all ages. Be sure to catch our special Soccer on the Square Viewing Party of locally hosted games on June 25!
But first, on June 11, Redwood City's Movies on the Square brings Wicked for Good, the second of a two-part feature film adaptation of the Broadway musical, which continues the story of Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West and her relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North.
This feature film is preceded at 8pm with a short independent film presented by BraveMaker Film Fest. So head to Downtown Redwood City for a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience! Join us on Courthouse Square for a FREE outdoor movie in the company of friends, family, and community.
