America250 and Forbes are co-hosting “America Innovates,” a free, open-to-the-public, family-friendly, three-day experience at Fort Mason Center’s Gateway Pavilion in San Francisco from May 16–18, 2026.
The immersive walk-through exhibit will showcase innovations of the past, present and future through hands-on demonstrations, interactive exhibits and livestreamed conversations with leaders across transportation, healthcare, robotics, AI, aviation, finance and consumer technology.
Visitors can explore emerging technology showcases from dozens of exhibitors, including a full-size model of Joby Aviation’s electric air taxi, robotics and AI demonstrations, healthcare innovation exhibits and the Springer-Lu Pavilion focused on science, education and medical breakthroughs.
The event will also feature appearances and discussions with entrepreneurs, scientists and innovators including Rosie Rios, Timothy Springer, Bob Metcalfe, Caterina Fake, Shan Sinha and more.
Programming is inspired by National Inventors Month and the Forbes Innovator 250 list, which recognizes groundbreaking American innovators shaping the future across industries.
Free admission. Open daily from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Advance registration encouraged.
