The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering a variety of programs that impact young girls, families and our community. Our goal is to provide an impactful and empowering experience that will motivate a transformation for all those that attend. The mission of NCBW is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
The Madam C.J. Walker Luncheon and Empowerment Forum serves as our signature fundraiser event that happens in the spring of each year.
We pay homage to Madam C.J. Walker, the first African American self-made millionaire. She was a pioneer in business and the community. The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Oakland Bay Area Chapter honors Madam C.J. Walker’s legacy by recognizing black women in the community for their outstanding accomplishments.
The proceeds from our annual luncheon and empowerment forum enables our chapter to continue to provide programs in our key initiatives of health, education, and economic empowerment. This premier event attracts 850 – 1000 women and men from all over the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our 28th Annual Madam C.J. Walker Luncheon & Empowerment Forum will be taking place on April 10, 2026 at the Oakland Marriott City Center.
