Created by Top Chef Season 18 contestant Chef Nelson German, Sobre Mesa blends ancestral African and Caribbean flavors with global influences, offering refined cocktails, seasonal cuisine, and an atmosphere that celebrates community, conversation, and joy. The name Sobre Mesa — “over the table” — embodies the spirit of connection that lives at the heart of the lounge.
