**Immanuel Lutheran Church Invites Community to Mid-Week Lenten Worship and Service Series** Immanuel Lutheran Church invites the community to gather for a special Mid-Week Lenten Worship series held each Wednesday from February 25 through March 25. These evenings will offer a time of fellowship, reflection, and learning about the needs within our local community. Each Wednesday evening will begin with a soup supper at 6:00 p.m., followed by a meaningful “Prayer Around the Cross” worship service at 7:00 p.m. This reflective service invites participants to pause, pray, and draw closer to Christ during the Lenten season. As part of this year’s theme of faith in action, a different local nonprofit organization will be featured each week. Representatives will share about their mission, the struggles many in our community face, and practical ways individuals and families can make a difference. Featured organizations include: * February 25 – Next Door Solutions * March 4 – Community Services Agency (CSA) * March 11 – Ecumenical Hunger Project * March 18 – Compassion Week * March 25 – Child Advocates of Silicon Valley These evenings are designed not only to deepen spiritual life during Lent but also to strengthen connections within the community and inspire compassionate service. Everyone is welcome to attend the soup supper, worship service, or both.
