Join us for a free family-friendly open house at the South Kitsap Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility!
This April marks thirty years since we opened our first permanent facility and began collecting household hazardous waste from residents year-round.
Come take a behind-the-scenes look at what happens after you drop off items like paint, batteries, and other household hazardous waste.
Enjoy a self-guided tour with informational stations throughout the site, and connect with our knowledgeable staff, who will be available along the way to answer your questions.
Parking is available on site with staff directing traffic. Enter through the main gate. If the parking lot is filled, we’ll direct attendees to park nearby at the Kitsap County Public Works Annex.
