Telescopes 101 for Teens
Join us and Sirius Astronomy, a BIPOC centered amateur astronomy organization, and we’ll overview the basics about telescopes and talk about space. We’ll then move outside and learn about different types of telescopes and try our hand at finding some deep sky objects and planets right in our own backyard!
Please note: This program is dependent on good weather. In case this event needs to be rescheduled, backup dates include February 18th, 24th or 25th. If this program is moved to a new date, all registered participants will be notified via email.
Ages 12-18.
