The Seattle University Theatre Program presents: The Tempest By William Shakespeare Directed by Ki Gottberg The Seattle University Theatre Program celebrates with our 20th Anniversary production in the Lee Center for the Arts: The Tempest, Shakespeare’s last play. With special Guest Artists and local luminary actors Reginald Jackson as Prospero, Allison Renee as Caliban; returning Emerita faculty Ki Gottberg & Carol Wolfe Clay (see bios below); faculty designers; and a full group of cast, crew, and assistant designers made up of students, freshman through seniors, from many different majors/minors, including Theatre, Theatre Production, Film, Business, Psychology, Biology, History, and Arts Leadership. The Tempest will be the penultimate theatre production in the Lee Center for the Arts. The Tempest is a tale of usurpation, vengeance, and ultimately love, reconciliation, and forgiveness; this tale of magic and power remains appropriate for our times and circumstances.
