OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, April 17th | 6:00 PM Exhibit runs: April 17th – May 15th The exhibition shines a long‐overdue light on Baron Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben, the brilliant military strategist whose training transformed the Continental Army and helped secure America’s independence. Though history often obscures it, von Steuben was a gay man whose life and legacy were shaped by the queer networks that supported him.
