Strawberries and the African Diaspora: A Juneteenth Celebration of Memory, Freedom, and Wellness
Attendees can enjoy a variety of engaging offerings, including a Strawberry Mocktail Sip & Paint, Afro Diaspora Junk Journaling (participants are encouraged to bring their own journals), an Enfield Poet Laureate Open Mic, and Historical Storytelling and Conversation. The event will also feature strawberry-inspired refreshments, including strawberry salad and sweet treats, creating a sensory-rich celebration rooted in nourishment and community care.
