President's Day of Service at Wadlow Town Center in Alton, IL
The Three Rivers Project of the Piasa Palisades Sierra Club Group is planning a neighborhood litter cleanup on President's Day of Service, Monday, February 16th, 2026, from 10 AM- 12 PM. The public is invited to help remove trash and litter from the bike trail at the Wadlow Town Center, behind the Holiday Inn Express. Volunteers will meet at 10 AM at the trailhead, by the Kohl's Parking Lot. Organizers will supply trash bags, safety vests, and gloves. Please dress warmly and bring your own water bottle. All are welcome ~ please invite your friends and family. The event will be canceled if inclement weather is forecast for that morning, such as rain or snow. If you want to walk the creek to pick up litter, please wear tall rubber boots.
