Resurrection Lutheran Church Announces "Thank You for Your Service" Appreciation Day
Godfrey, IL - Resurrection Lutheran Church invites Firefighters, Police Officers, Sheriff's
Deputies, EMTs, Paramedics, Disabled Veterans, and all First Responders and their families
to enjoy a FREE lunch in appreciation of their service.
The event is also open to the public. Lunch is $2 per person for all other attendees. Children ages 8 and under eat FREE.
Dan Garner, Men’s Club President, says “this event is our way of saying ‘thank you!’ to
those who serve. Community members are encouraged to come out, show their support,
and enjoy a fun-filled time together as we honor those who faithfully serve and protect us
every day. Together, let's celebrate their dedication and express our heartfelt appreciation.”
Garner wants families to know they can also enjoy inflatables for the kids, making this a
fun event for all ages.
