Party like it's 1926 at 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis on Friday, August 28, for a property-wide celebration marking the 100th anniversary of its historic 1528 Locust Street building and the hotel’s third anniversary!
Hotel guests, neighbors, and the entire St. Louis community are invited to enjoy live music, contemporary art, interactive activities, and tours of the property’s historic spaces. Highlights include:
• Live music by Hard Bop Messengers, 6–8 p.m.
• Vinyl DJ set in the second-floor museum galleries, 8–10 p.m.
• Free interactive printmaking with Central Print
• Self-guided conversation prompts exploring the current exhibition, Dress Up, Speak Up: Regalia and Resistance
• Guided tours of Locust Street Athletic & Swim Club, including its beautifully restored Historic YMCA lap pool, 5–8 p.m.
• A special presentation recognizing 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis, August’s Community Impact Partner
A special $192.60 anniversary room rate is also available for Friday night, including a bottle of Cava. Reservations and additional anniversary programming are available through 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis.
