Kennelwood Learning Center 10936 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122 Kids Ages 8 -14 $300 per child One Week Sessions: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm Monday through Friday Campers will delve into the fundamentals of understanding canine body language and essential handling techniques. They’ll also learn vital skills in Pet CPR & First Aid, earning a certificate upon completion. Campers will enjoy exclusive access to behind-the-scenes glimpses of our grooming salon, where they’ll actively participate in grooming a fortunate furry friend. Additionally, campers can expect captivating training demonstrations from Kennelwood’s professional dog Trainers and enriching talks by guest speakers, adding layers of excitement and learning to each day. Engaging in dog-themed crafts will spark creativity, while a memorable last-day celebration awaits with photo sessions and a delectable snack for our young attendees. Pet Care Summer Camp Dates: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm Daily June 8th through June 12th June 22nd through June 26th July 6th through June 10th July 20th through July 24th August 3rd through August 7th In our Junior Pet Care Summer Camp your child will: - Learn dog body language basics to increase safety around pets - Practice pet CPR and first aid techniques with explanations kids can understand - Try out grooming techniques including brushing and ear cleaning - Observe and participate in a bath and brush in our grooming salon - Enjoy training demonstrations presented by Kennelwood professional dog trainers - Make dog cookies to take home for their pet & for donation to pets in local shelters - Learn about dog nutrition and understand which foods are safe and unsafe for dogs - Participate in daily crafts and games - Enjoy some photo sessions with pets that have been helping us during the week Enjoy snacks and time with new friends that love pets as much as they do!
