From Lamentation to Hope in Action
Laudato Si’ Week is May 17-24 in 2026. We join people from around the world in commemorating this encyclical on climate change and our common home that stands on millennia of Catholic teaching about Creation. This year’s national theme is “From Hope to Action.” Laudatosiweek.org reminds us, “Hope is not passive; it is lived and shared through daily choices, community life, prayer, and concrete acts of care.” In keeping with that theme, our prayer service will be called “From Lamentation to Hope in Action.”
