Saint Louis, MO 63131 Ticket Prices $10 per person (all ages) Tickets are non-refundable About the Show Into the Woods, by the legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, brings together beloved characters from the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tales—Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), a Baker and his Wife, Rapunzel, and more. Their once separate stories intertwine in a shared forest, as each character embarks on an individual journey in pursuit of a “wish.” Once those wishes are granted, however, the characters must face the consequences of their choices along the way and grapple with the impact those actions had on others. Sondheim’s work stands apart in the world of musical theatre. Known for his wit, intelligence, and humanity, he challenges performers and audiences alike to think deeply about the choices we make.
