Missing Voices Concert

Experience the profound works of Jewish classical composers whose lives and legacies were fundamentally altered by the Holocaust. This performance is free and open to the public. Missing Voices brings renewed attention to the extraordinary composers such as Pál Hermann, Henriëtte Bosmans, Jozéf Koffler, and Daniël Belinfante, who—among many others—were celebrated before WWII. Their works were once performed widely and with great admiration, yet the devastation of the war interrupted their creative paths and silenced an entire generation of potential. As a result, this music is seldom heard today, even among historically informed performers. We invite you to join French pianist Dimitri Malignan and soprano Lily Arbisser for an evening of cultural remembrance and restoration. Together, we will honor these interrupted lives, ensuring that their music—and their stories—continue to resonate and find their rightful place in our shared cultural heritage. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend this evening of music and history.
