This workshop is an introduction to Continuous Improvement and LEAN methodologies. It offers common sense principles from Fortune 500 firms, scalable to smaller business environments. It will expose you to concepts related to LEAN process improvement, and techniques commonly used in large companies to improve business performance, but scalable to the small business owner.
Presenter's Bio: Steve Johnson retired as Director of Global Service Enablement from Danaher Corporation, globally recognized as a "Gold Standard in Lean Enterprise Transformation". Danaher practiced Continuous Improvement through their award winning "Danaher Business Systems" (DBS) methodology: both a process and a culture. In this role Steve was responsible for Customer and Service Experience optimization globally for the Leica Biosystems Operating Company within Danaher's Diagnostics Division, a $180M business. Prior to this he served as an operational leader of progressively larger Field & Customer Service teams with other Danaher OpCo's as well as with Life Technologies (Now Thermo Scientific), Steris, and Applied Biosystems. He has a B.S. In Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, and is a USCG Veteran.
