URBANAIRE 2026: Shades of Resistance
Join PROMO as we celebrate 40 years of LGBTQ+ advocacy and organizing in Missouri at URBANAIRE: Shades of Resistance, our annual gala and community celebration.
This year's theme honors the many identities, experiences, and voices that strengthen our movement. Throughout the day, volunteers will participate in community canvassing efforts across the St. Louis region, engaging neighbors in conversations about equality, inclusion, and trans rights.
In the evening, community members, organizers, leaders, supporters, allies, and LGBTQ+ Missourians will gather at The Hawthorn for a memorable celebration featuring entertainment, connection, and a chance to dance the night away.
Proceeds support PROMO's year-round advocacy and organizing work, including deep canvassing, leadership development, community engagement, and efforts to elevate the stories and experiences of LGBTQ+ Missourians across the state
