On the Thursday before Easter, Bishop Janes United Methodist Church invites the community to a Maundy Thursday Dinner Communion — one of the most intimate and meaningful services of the Christian year.
The evening brings together a shared meal of soup, salad, sandwiches, and dessert with the celebration of communion, honoring the way Jesus first shared this sacrament with his disciples around a table. It is a service of warmth, reflection, and community — and everyone is genuinely welcome to participate, including receiving communion. No church membership or prior experience is required
Doors open at 6:20 PM for those who would like to be seated before the service begins at 6:30 PM.
