I Love Dogs, A Tribute to Man's Best Friend at the Mendham Township Library
On Monday, March 9th at 1pm, join local author, Jim Weagley as he presents I Love Dogs, A Tribute to Man's Best Friend at the Mendham Township Library.
Calling All Dog Lovers!
Join author and dog lover Jim Weagley as he shares his experiences about growing up at the Seeing Eye Breeding Division in Mendham. Jim will recite amusing stories about various family and service dogs from his new book, I Love Dogs, a Tribute to Man’s Best Friend. Jim will also discuss dog training techniques and recommendations.
In addition, Jim will welcome two special guests Ramona Shaw and her certified service dog, Raider. As of today, Raider has performed 192 service dog visits to a variety of venues. Her presence always encourages hands-on interactions, lots of smiles and calming effects to those who meet her. Don't miss your chance to meet Raider!
About Jim Weagley:
Jim is a dog lover and has been his whole life! His close relationship with dogs began early as he spent his childhood living at the Seeing Eye Breeding Division in Mendham, NJ. His father served as the program’s first director beginning in 1945 when he started breeding and training dogs who had served in World War ll.
