ABOUT THE ARIZONA INN
Since 1930, the Arizona Inn has stood as a defining presence in Tucson, shaped by vision, purpose, and a profound sense of place. More than a hotel, it was conceived as a sanctuary of grace in the Sonoran Desert. Today, its signature pink adobe walls and serene garden courtyards reflect a legacy that has endured for nearly a century.
Founded by Isabella Greenway, Arizona’s first congresswoman, the Inn was envisioned as both a refined retreat and a purposeful enterprise supporting disabled veterans of World War I. Over generations, it has become deeply woven into Tucson’s cultural fabric, earning recognition as a National Register of Historic Places property.
Today, dedicated local stewardship continues to honor its founding principles while thoughtfully preparing the Inn for the century ahead. In 2025, a new chapter began—one rooted in preservation, care, and a commitment to elevating the guest experience while safeguarding the character that defines this cherished landmark.
The Arizona Inn is located at 2200 E. Elm Street in the heart of Tucson’s midtown. For additional information, please visit www.arizonainn.com or call 520-325-1541.
