Memories of Concerts Past
This FREE performance, Memories of Concerts Past, features a wide variety of music, some of which was performed on the first concert of Civic Orchestra of Tucson (COT) 50 years ago. Young Artists' Competition winner, Ben Teller, will perform the first movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto No. 1. Other classics include excerpts from the Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg and Afro-American Symphony by William Grant Still. Also on the program will be How To Train Your Dragon, Phantom of the Opera Medley, and LIbertango by Astor Piazzolla.
