Red Herring Puppets’ The Friendly Chupacabra/ El Chupacabra Amable is the third show in the collection of bilingual folktales based on stories from Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. This anthology of folktales, which includes The Barking Mouse / El Ratón que Ladra and The Blue Frog / La Rana Azul, is presented in a mixture of English and Spanish, celebrating Latino cultures and the importance of welcoming and learning from each other. Each story features original music by Diana Olivares and Salma Diaz, from Las Azaleas, an all-girl mariachi band based in Tucson.
