Huntington’s disease is a fatal, hereditary neurodegenerative disorder that slowly diminishes a person’s ability to think, move, and function—often during their prime working years, with Juvenile HD appearing in children and teens. Woody Guthrie passed away from Huntington's disease. Woody's wife, Marjorie, founded the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA).
