The Marshall Tucker Band’s distinctive style first hit the nation’s airwaves in 1973 with “Take The Highway,” a single from their self-titled debut album. The childhood friends from Spartanburg, South Carolina, were soon touring and building a massive fan base around the world. Their extensive music catalog, consisting of more than 20 studio albums and a score of live releases, has racked up multiplatinum album sales many times over, with classic songs like “Can’t You See,” “Heard It In A Love Song,” and “Fire On The Mountain” still in regular rotation on rock stations today.
