Founders Day Festival in Sand Springs, Saturday, June 6th
A day of old-fashioned family fun, from 9am to 4pm, featuring live music, street vendors, a Kids Zone, walking tours of downtown Sand Springs at 10am and 2pm. Pie eating contest, beard and mustache competitions.
There will be lots of fun ways to learn the history of Charles Page and Sand Springs, the industrial city founded on caring for orphans and widows. Those charities continue today through the Sand Springs Home and Sand Springs Family Village.
From Tulsa, take 412 West to the Adams Rd exit, then straight to Main Street in the Box District.
