Fairfax VegFest
Fairfax VegFest will return to the headquarters of Northwest Federal Credit Union in Herndon, Virginia on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing together hundreds of attendees for a vibrant celebration of plant-based food, ethical living, and community connection.
Hosted by Vegfest Expos in collaboration with GreenFare, Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM), and Northwest Federal Credit Union (NWFCU), the event will once again transform the spacious campus at 200 Spring Street into a lively outdoor festival featuring food vendors, local businesses, wellness exhibitors, and educational outreach.
Fairfax VegFest continues a growing tradition of plant-based festivals in Northern Virginia designed to introduce the public to healthier, more sustainable, and more compassionate food choices. Previous years have featured dozens of vendors, cooking demonstrations, speakers, and exhibitors focused on nutrition, environmental sustainability, and humane living.
“This event is about bringing people together in a positive, welcoming environment where they can explore plant-based food and learn how their everyday choices can make a difference,” said Eric C Lindstrom, Executive Director of FARM. “You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy Fairfax VegFest — you just have to love good food, good people, and good energy.”
Attendees can expect:
A full day of vegan food, shopping, and discovery
Local makers, wellness brands, and eco-friendly businesses
A family-friendly, community-focused atmosphere
Opportunities to meet chefs, founders, and creators
Raffles, giveaways, and activities throughout the day
A welcoming space for vegans, vegetarians, and the veg-curious
The event will take place in the parking lot and parking garage area generously provided by Northwest Federal Credit Union. A $5 parking fee per car will be collected on site, along with a suggested $5 donation to support future community events. Raffle drawings will be held hourly throughout the festival.
Fairfax VegFest is part of a growing series of Vegfest Expos events held across the region, each designed to showcase the rapidly expanding world of plant-based food, ethical products, and sustainable living while building a stronger local community.
The event is open to the public, and all are welcome.
