Artful Afternoon: Mommy and Minis
Get ready for a fun, creative afternoon where moms and little ones can make memories and masterpieces together.
This event gives moms a calm, restorative space to relax while their children enjoy guided art activities with our volunteers. Everyone is in the same building, just in their own zones — moms get a real break, and kids get a fun, creative session designed just for them. We will be offering drinks (soda, juice, and water), pizza, appetizers, and snacks. The event is free to attend, though donations are welcome.
Event Features
Mom relaxation station — light stretches, quiet ground exercises, an adult coloring station, an affirmation wall, and optional 5‐minute massage‐chair sessions
Kids’ creative activities — Legos and magnet tiles, watercolor breathing and painting, calm jar stories, and a grounding writing activity
Free refreshments — pizza, appetizers, snacks, soda, juice, and water
Community‐centered format — everyone together, but in their own supportive zones
We know little ones can be messy, that’s just part of the fun. No need to feel embarrassed; we’ve got cleanup covered. All you need to do is bring yourself and make memories with your kids. You must get a free ticket for each child you're bringing. They won't be allowed in without one.
