Carrying The Torch of Care - Teen Caregivers Breakfast

The Military Child World Expo is a national, family-centered convening dedicated to honoring and supporting military-connected children and the communities that serve them. Hosted in Arlington, Virginia, the Home of the Military Child, the Expo brings together families, youth, educators, schools, nonprofits, and institutions in a welcoming environment focused on access, recognition, and belonging. This RSVP-only event features education and scholarship pathways, youth caregiving recognition, cultural and arts programming, wellness resources, and community engagement experiences designed for both military-connected and civilian families. A featured experience of the Expo is Education & Pathways, which connects students and families with colleges, universities, community colleges, and scholarship organizations. This is not a traditional college fair. Instead, it provides space for open conversations about admissions, financial aid, FAFSA timelines, GI Bill®-eligible programs, and postsecondary pathways, welcoming first-generation college aspirants and students at all stages of exploration. The Expo also recognizes teen caregivers through the Turn Care Into Credit initiative, acknowledging youth who support their families while balancing school and community responsibilities. Cultural and arts programming highlights identity, belonging, and youth voice, while additional activities promote leadership and community connection. The Military Child World Expo is free to attend and intentionally designed to remove barriers to participation. This is not a fundraising event or commercial marketplace. Important Attendance Information This is an RSVP-only event. Minors must be accompanied by one (1) parent or legal guardian only. Additional adults may be subject to capacity limitations.
