A guided pie workshop with the DC State Fair Board President—practical skills, pro tips, and light refreshments. Join the DC State Fair for a spring pie baking class! Learn how to bake blue-ribbon worthy pies from DC State Fair Board President and blue-ribbon winner Maggie Downing. This event is made possible by Mess Hall, our 2025 DC State Fair Culinary Contest Sponsor. Refreshments will be provided and all proceeds from the class will go towards making this year’s fair possible in September!
