It's time to reserve a table and let your organization shine at the fifth annual ALX Dog Walk on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the beautiful Oronoco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria.CELEBRATING Spring2ACTion! We're rolling out the red carpet for nonprofits again this year to help organizations connect with the community in the Spring2ACTion Nonprofit Village. This event is your chance to showcase your unique programs, products, and services to a vibrant community, just before Spring2ACTion Day on April 22nd.PLASTIC-FREE TABLES: In line with our mission, we're a plastic-free/recycled plastic event, and we have a Plastic-Free Event Toolkit to help you discover ways to set-up a plastic-free table. Don't worry about being perfectly plastic-free—just do your best and try new things - we believe in pawgress, not perfection!REGISTRATION FEE: We're requesting a donation of $25 plus a $3.29 registration portal processing fee - for a total of $28.29, and this provides for one 6-foot table, two chairs, and the early setup fee. Everything will be ready when you arrive at Oronoco Bay Park.THE MORNING AGENDA: Here's what to expect on Walk day:6:00 AM: Nonprofits begin setting up tables7:00 AM: Walkers begin checking in8:00 AM: Morning speaker, Mayor Alyia Gaskins!8:15 AM: The Walk begins (2 miles down Union Street and back)9–11 AM: Walkers return to Oronoco Bay Park and enjoy the festivities!TABLE LOCATION AND PARKING INSTRUCTIONSIn early April 2026, we'll send you final details about the Spring2ACTion Nonprofit Village, including your nonprofit's specific table location and parking instructions. We're a rain or shine event, so bring a tent.
