Cathedral Brass Presents Fantastic Worlds
Cathedral Brass (CB) is a distinguished brass and percussion ensemble bringing together musicians from throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. The ensemble includes current and former professional performers, as well as active and retired members of the United States Service Bands. This unique 22-piece ensemble is known for its artistic versatility—performing traditional brass literature alongside jazz-influenced works and innovative arrangements drawn from popular culture. Many of these custom arrangements are created by talented members of Cathedral Brass, reflecting the ensemble’s commitment to creativity and musical exploration.
Cathedral Brass is pleased to present a free public concert featuring two exceptional guest soloists: James Nickel, Hornist with the National Symphony Orchestra, and Sergeant First Class Chris Buckley, Euphonium Performer with the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own.” Their artistry and experience promise an engaging and memorable musical experience.
