Chester Children's Chorus Spring Concerts: The Beatles

Join 115 children from the Chester Children’s Chorus for their annual spring concerts, featuring classical and choral works, followed by a joyful tribute to The Beatles.

The program includes favorites such as "Hey Jude," "Help!," "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," "Let It Be," and more.

These performances will also mark the final concerts of CCC Founder, Executive & Artistic Director John Alston, before his retirement in August 2026.

“Who doesn’t want to finish a musical career with The Beatles?” Alston said. “They gave us some of the world’s most compelling melodies. I can barely contain myself when our children sing the ‘Hey Jude’ hook.”

Following the concert, guests are invited to a reception in the Lang Performing Arts Center (LPAC), adjacent to Lang Concert Hall.

Please note: due to extraordinary interest in John Alston’s final concerts before his retirement, we ask guests to attend one performance, so more people can share in this special moment.

On May 16 & 17, overflow seating will be available next door in the Lang Performing Arts Center (LPAC), where guests can watch the performance livestream happening via the CCC's YouTube and Facebook pages.
