The 5K4Kids Run/Walk and Family Fair (rain or shine) is a wonderful occasion for the whole family, featuring: USATF Certified 5-kilometer race, Family/Kids fun-run, face painting, airbrush tattoos, balloon clown, bouncy house, music provided by DJ Mary, Framingham Public Library Bookmobile, Framingham Fire Dept. Touch-A-Truck, Food trucks, including Nashbowls Açaí and Alex's Ice Cream. Wayside Youth & Family Support Network provides a wide variety of mental health counseling and family support services to children, young adults and families in 220 cities and towns across Massachusetts. Purchase raffle tickets ($5 each) for a chance to win one of two $1,000 Visa gift cards or one of three $500 Visa gift cards on the day of the race. Raffle tickets will be sold until 11:30 AM on October 18. The drawing will take place at noon.
Donations, registration fees and raffle ticket sales provide emergency food and clothing, diapers and formula, school supplies, holiday gifts, hot meals, warm winter coats, hats, and gloves and more.
